my story didn't begin with burnout
It began with achievement.
Like so many women, I learned to be the good student, the dependable employee, the helper, the achiever. I became incredibly skilled at building everyone else's vision while quietly disconnecting from my own.
From the outside, my life looked successful. Inside, I was depleted. I was exhausted. I had spent years searching outward for validation, accomplishment, and the next milestone, believing that if I simply worked harder or achieved more, fulfillment would eventually arrive.
It never did. The invitation was never to do more. It was to turn inward.
then life stopped me
In 2025, I faced one of the most terrifying seasons of my life. I fought to preserve my vision — two surgeries and countless interventions. I fought hard, both literally and figuratively.
It was raw. It was frightening. And it became the greatest invitation I had ever received.
My health forced me to ask questions I had spent years avoiding:
How do I want to live? What is this pace of life costing me? Who have I become while trying to be everything for everyone else?
The work environment I had returned to was creating relentless stress. My health was at stake. I was so depleted that I could no longer show up for my family in the way I longed to. Everything I believed mattered was asking me to choose differently.
and so i made a bold decision
On January 22, 2026, with my vision finally stabilizing, I resigned from a secure corporate career. A pension. Benefits. A salary. Everything people tell you never to walk away from.
But deep within me, I knew something even more certain. I wasn't walking away from security. I was walking toward my life's work. Toward the women I was meant to serve. Toward the life I had quietly been creating for years.
It wasn't a reckless leap. It was a sacred commitment to live in alignment with the life I knew was finally possible.
looking back, i can see the breadcrumbs
I've always been a seer. Drawn to the deeper questions. Fascinated by the connection between our thoughts, our nervous system, our relationships, and the lives we create.
Long before it became my work, I developed my own meditation practice to quiet the noise, soften stress, and reconnect with myself. As I changed, everything around me began to change. My relationships. My confidence. The choices I made. The dreams I was willing to pursue.
One courageous step became another. Small shifts became a completely different life.
